The list of guests for the Island Fantasy Convention continues to grow and with their latest announcement, I squealed like a nerd.
Our fair city of Victoria, located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, will see in 2015 not one but two Power Rangers! Wether they are here as special guests of the con or they are expecting the Empress Hotel to be smashed by a giant creature is anyone’s guess. I’m just happy they’ll be here — destruction or no.
Erin Cahill
Cahill was originally known to fans as Jen Scotts, the Pink Ranger, in Power Rangers Time Force. But since that role she has built a resume for both TV and film.
Her TV credits include guest appearances in such series as The Mentalist, Supernatural, Ghost Whisperer, Sleepy Hollow, Castle, Jekyll, and Law & Order: LA.
In film she is known for the role of Katie Reed in Fast Track: No Limits, and as Rachel Ashe in Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2 and 3.
Cahill may also be recognized for her voice work in video games. She reprises her character in Power Rangers Time Force as the Pink Ranger, plays Carla the Jackal of James Bond in Agent Under Fire, and Chloe “Karma” Lynch in Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
Jason Faunt
Faunt played Wes Collins, the leader of the Power Rangers Time Force team as Red Ranger. In 2014, he had a return role as Wes Collins in Power Rangers Megaforce.
But for non-rangers fans, you may remember him in television series like Deadliest Warriors, Alexander, Jekyll and the UPN sitcom Eve.
In video games, Faunt was the motion capture actor for Leon S. Kennedy in Resident Evil 6.

Lloyd Kaufman
This writer, director, and co-founder of Troma Entertainment produced such cult films as The Toxic Avenger (1984), Sgt. Kabukiman N.Y.P.D. (1990), and Klown Kamp Massacre (2010).
As a film crew member he has worked as pre-production supervisor on Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky (1976) and as a location executive on Saturday Night Fever (1977) starring John Travolta and Karen Lynn Gorney.
And if you haven’t noticed, Kaufman recently made a cameo in the movie Guardians of the Galaxy. If you blink, you may miss seeing him jeer the new prisoners as they make their entrance at the main detention center.
