Dixieland music is not characterized by just one song, namely “When the Saints Come Marching In,” and when the Original Dixieland Jazz Band recorded “Livery Stable Blues” in 1917, its influence upon future generations knew no bounds, and this documentary will be one I’ll be very enthusiastic for to learn about the roots of Jazz music.

I suspect for some people, they may well be dancing in the asiles by the end. That will be a sight to see.
