Halloween in Downtown Courtenay

The Lewis Centre and Downtown Courtenay Business Improvement Association is holding a nearly day-long family safe environment for toddlers and adults to enjoy this Halloween. From recreating Michael Jackson’s Thriller dance-number to kickstart the day to trick n’ treating down Fifth street, the outdoor activities will eventually head indoors with a party at the Lewis Centre.

The evening will be capped off by a costume contest that’s run by InCon Gaming Convention.

Afterlife the Musical!

The Sooke Harbour Players has what may be an original delishly delightful musical, Afterlife the Musical! Here, the Queen of Heaven has been taking more than her share of souls and someone is not liking it. In this play, theatre goers watch a young girl’s journey unfold as she finds unconditional love, and true courage to face her darkest fears. This all ages show continues past Halloween to allow theatre-goers a chance to witness this fun just one more time with Resurrection playing her hand as interest in this show grows.

Halloween Fundraiser Dance

Qualicum Beach

The purpose of this adults only event at the Civic Center is to raise funds for the Vancouver Islanders PeeWee Island Hockey League team to travel to Europe in 2016 for two weeks and be able to play at six exhibition games.

The band Baby Jane will be providing the night’s entertainment.
