Rocky Horror Show
Oct 23 at 8:00pm to Nov 1 at 11:00pm
Location: Metro Theatre (1411 Quadra) – Victoria
Rebel Knock Out (RKO) Productions is a new theatre group in Victoria who is definitely knocking their plans right out of the ballpark with their inaugural musical to get themselves known. The Rocky Horror Show — a play originally crafted by Richard O’Brien that helped catapult many a 70’s star to new heights. Meatloaf rose to fame and Tim Curry showed he was up to the challenge to be Dr. Frank N. Furter in this cinematic salute to the horror movies of the 50’s B-Movie era and sexual liberation.
There is no clue as to how raunchy this production will get when considering last year’s show was brought to stage by Kaleidoscope Theatre, but it’s safe to bet that this play will be truly off the wall. People who went to last year’s performance will recognize a few names. Griffin Lea returns as Dr. Frank N Furter and Candace Woodland is back as Columbia.
Tickets can be bought in advance through Ticket Rocket.
