Cherry Bomb Toys and The Pig BBQ Joint worked together to create a monstrous sandwich (aptly named the Cherry Bomb) that Godzilla can easily challenge. But for me, a simple Ed, I was not quite sure.

Mr. Stay Puft Arrives for Christmas Gifting at Oh Sugar!

Oh Sugar
561 Johnson Street
Victoria, B.C.

To answer the question of what the difference is between the new Stay Puft marshmallow box and the old one, that’s in two key ingredients: the amount of caffeine and salt used. The cheaper product is being sold to build interest for the third movie. And for the die-hard, the pricier variant is what “real” Ghostbusters may require while searching for spirits during a long night. E: The first time James and I found the Eat Machine, a food truck operation, it was closed. The second time, we arrived near their cleanup time. J: Sunday should be a lazy day, a time for relaxation and reflection, for watching what garbage they put on TV before changing my mind and renting a movie from Two Thumbs Up. But none of this occurred because I bused it to downtown Victoria for the International Chalk Festival (and any excuse to eat at another restaurant).

E: The Dutch Bakery is a good standby when James is late and needs a bite to eat. I was busy but by the time I finally met him an hour later, did I chew him out? Nope. A Flying Dutchman got in the way.

J: I was late with a good reason. Ed and I have a 2nd meeting place at Murchie’s where I knew he could be found in the company of freelance journalist Tim Colinson (he has many articles published in Monday Magazine).

J: Even with the sun shining and the day looking as beautiful as it did, it was still a tough one for me. I took communion and gave special prayer at Christ Church Cathedral. My thoughts were on my co-worker who is suffering from Stage 4 leukemia. To say I didn’t shed a few tears would be a complete and utter lie. Thankfully Ed was there to help take my mind off of the bad things in life.

Our scheduled lunch at Sockeye Sushi fell through and it was then that I learned that Urbanspoon can’t be right all the time.
